This short single takes about an hour to read and is interesting but not spectacular. It chronicles the crimes and punishments of Michael Ross who raped and killed a number of women in New England. It's too short to be any kind of deep psychological profile or to do much of anything but describes the crimes and punishment of Ross. this book was definately disturbing in the fact that it is hard to believe there are actually people who are sick murderers. the author tries to tie science to murder but it didn't work that well.
I ENJOYED THE BOOK. I FOUND IT VERY INTERESTING GETTING INTO THE MIND OF A KILLER. iT HELD MY INTEREST ALL THE WAY THROUGH
Very boring attempt at analysis of a killer. I can not think of twelve more words to say about it.
Absolutely forgettable due to the author's style of delivery. Would not recommend this book to fans of the true crime genre.
Interesting and informative from a different perspective than most things you read. You see the criminal in a different light, from his view and that of the victim.
Usually i read for the causality to thinking behind the criminal act; while this book did present these things, it was forced and simply , " here are the facts" type of reporting.
This is well-written in a narrative form of the events with the author adding in a speculative viewpoint of the victims to make it more real. I would have liked it to be more detailed.
